My 10 Favorite Songs of 2011
2011 was a great year for electronic style of music, which is my favorite style to listen to. Also, 2011 saw hip-hop and pop music gain a stronger hold on the music world but there were some amazing alternative hits that showed their heads in 2011. Let’s hope that 2012 turns out to be another great year for music. Here are my 10 favorite songs from 2011 (songs are in no particualr order):
리쌍- Turn off the TV
Leessang (리쌍) is my favorite Korean K-Pop group, and this is my favorite song of theirs. Even though I do not understand most of what they are saying, their songs are just great to listen to while trying to relax and/or read.
This has to be one of the best music videos that I have ever seen.

Is it Okay to Check Email/SMS at the Dinner Table?
There’s an interesting article/video on Times’ blog that goes over a few dos and don’ts of the digital world, and one question that both reporters discuss if it is okay to check your email/sms at the dinner table? I, personally, never check my phone when I’m eating dinner with my family, personal friends, or on a date. But I guess it all depends on what type of dinner it is. If it’s a nice dinner out with someone then I won’t check my phone at the table, but if I’m with a group of friends, and we are drinking and having good time, then I would. I get a bit upset when I’m having dinner with someone, alone, and they check their phone. I don’t flip out on them but it does make me look at them bit different.
